FAQs
I’m new to Pilates — is Reformer Pilates right for me?
Yes! Reformer Pilates is suitable for all levels, from total beginners to experienced movers. Our instructors will guide you safely through each exercise. For your first few classes, we recommend booking a 'Flow Fundamentals' class, which is beginner-friendly.
What exactly is Reformer Pilates?
Reformer Pilates uses a specially designed machine with springs and pulleys to create resistance. This allows you to build strength, improve flexibility, and move with better alignment — all at your own pace.
What should I wear to class?
Wear comfortable, fitted activewear that lets you move freely. Grip socks are mandatory on the Reformer for safety and hygiene. We offer a range of grip socks for purchase in the studio.
Do I need to bring anything?
Just your grip socks, a water bottle, and your good energy. We provide everything else you’ll need in class.
Why do I need grip socks?
Grip socks keep you stable on the Reformer and maintain hygiene standards. They’re required for your safety and cannot be waived.
How do I book a class?
Booking is simple — reserve your spot through our Gymcatch page. Please double-check class times and dates when booking, as we cannot refund missed classes due to booking errors.
How much does it cost?
We offer a variety of flexible class packs on Gymcatch to suit your schedule and budget. Each package page includes details on savings and expiry dates, so you can choose what works best.
What’s your cancellation policy?
Cancellations must be made at least 12 hours before the class start time to receive a credit. Late cancellations or no-shows result in a forfeited class credit.
When should I arrive?
Please arrive 10 minutes before class to get settled. The studio opens no earlier than 10 minutes before class. Late arrivals are at the instructor’s discretion, and entry will not be permitted after the warm-up. Allow extra time for parking and accessing the studio.
Can I do Reformer Pilates while pregnant?
If you're pregnant or postnatal, please get in touch with us so we can advise which classes are suitable.
Do you offer private sessions?
Yes! Private and semi-private sessions are available for personalized support and deeper guidance. Contact us for booking and pricing details.
How many people are in a class?
Classes are small to ensure individual attention. Our current capacity is 7 clients for Reformer and 8 clients for mat classes.
Can I pause or extend my class pack?
Class packs are non-refundable. Please note your credit expiry date — credits cannot be extended past expiry except in extenuating circumstances.
What if I have an injury or health condition?
Please inform your instructor of any injuries or health conditions before class. Instructors will offer modifications to ensure you move safely. Participation is at your own risk.
Do you have an age limit?
Our classes are for clients aged 17+ only.
